Although the Detroit Auto Show news is pouring in, Infiniti is already plotting for the Geneva Motor Show. What does the automaker have in store for its fans? According to a recent teaser, Infiniti will unveil a plug-in hybrid electric sports car!
As rivals ratchet up their electric offerings, Infiniti is poised to deliver a truly unique sports model. In Chicago, Infiniti QX56 owners can't wait to see what their favorite automaker will reveal at the motor show.
Right now, not a lot is known about the vehicle. In fact, it doesn't even have a name. Infiniti is calling it the "Advanced Sports Car Concept." Based on current information, it's safe to assume the vehicle will be mid-engined with a battery pack to extend the range. The distance it's able to coverage should be adequate, but we won't know more until Geneva.
According to Infiniti, the automaker is pursuing this model "to explore what might be the next stage in how to deliver a vivid, engaging and sophisticated driving experience from an electrically powered vehicle."
At Fields Infiniti, we've definitely seen an increase in the number of clients interested in purchasing an electric vehicle, and this new concept from Infiniti should satisfy a lot of demand.
